    A beautiful piece that incorporates a pale turquoise from the Kingman mine along with Navajo stampwork. the stone measures approzimately 5/8" tall, including the silver setting 1" tall, then with the bail 1/3/8" overall. Stampwork is a process that utilizes several hardened steel "stamps", a hammer, two hands, and a lot of skill. It is one of the silversmithing techniques that was taught to the Navajo many years ago by Mexican silversmiths and has been passed down and perfected for many generations. This piece was made and hallmarked by Joe Piaso from New Mexico.
