Beautiful handmade western cedar and walnut flute in the key of "A". Deer hide is holding the block and the red and black embellishments are applied thread. The flute is handcrafted in St. Augustine, Florida by local pipe organ professional and craftsman, Chaz Dewsbury. He has brought his experience with pipe organs and wood working to his crafting of Native American Style flutes. He makes the style of block that has a built in wind shell which focuses the air for a more clear and pleasing tone. He has also created an innovative back stop for the block for easy alignment. He prefers making the more traditional five hole flute which is tuned in the minor pentatonic scale.
