Wampum Shell Pendant (3812)

Lovely Wampum Shell pendant. Set in sterling silver, this pendant measures about 2" x 1/2".

Wampum is created from the shell of a clam found on the New England coast. Only a small percentage of Wampum shells have deep layers of purple and are thick enough to make beads and cabochons. It was the first Native American currency. Making this stone very special.
